Great ! you can buy an sdx55 now and upgrade next year!
I was scrolling to previous messages…
In fact, there is a requirement for high data transfer at various scenarios.
It cannot be managed with LTE, maybe some 5G slices will do.
Ahead of technology it is growing the requirements too.
Life will go on… rel 16 ,17 then 6g then mars planning…
We live more happily with 2g as well.
Someone had shared here the stats that investment in cellular business is declining since 2015.
And ROI is also falling.
What does it mean?
It simply means, when market would become too much congested, price to acquire operators would fall.
That’s when the smart money would enter the market and acquire the cellular operators.
It means that MNOs are struggling to survive.
We should all expect mergeres and acquistions of MNOs in countries where are more than 3 MNOs.
Voice call and SMS!
Happy life
Well said @RFSpecialist.
RAN sharing was the first step.
MNOs todat they share everything: Tower, transmissions, cells, RRUs almost everything except Core.
Yes remember times we have more operators more jobs more roll out.
I still remember for neighbor planning dedicated team there.
Need to think ANR impact how many jobs it’s eaten instead of creating V2X and all market hypes.
We all should bid good luck to 5G!
And show our support.
Or we’ll be selling Bagels in a while!
Industry needs a revamping.
Do you mean odd number always failed like 3G, 5G?
When we are saying SA, it doesnt always mean option 2.
SA with Option 7x support gNB connected to both EPC and and 5GC.
So under coverage of SA cell.
Both SA and NSA devices can work.
NSA devices can have RRC signaling through LTE.
All vendors like Ericsson and Nokia are pushing for option 2 for SA not for option 7x for SA.
Option 7x may not be available from all vendors.
Same like options 3 and 3a, not all vendors implemented it.
Well, let’s see.
5G slicing will enable a dedicated layer for automobiles. That way other internet data traffic will not interfere with this layer and it can work safely.
A post was split to a new topic: How can we confirm if a Device support DPS?
