Hi all,
Is there any other parameter used in Baicells eNodeB for reduce the indoor coverage excluding output power?
Hi all,
Is there any other parameter used in Baicells eNodeB for reduce the indoor coverage excluding output power?
You can increase E-tilt.
Cellradius
Extended cell range expansion ( for micro site only )
Indicates the maximum cell coverage offset. This parameter is specified to achieve coverage expansion of micro base stations. The offset that actually takes effect depends on UE capabilities. The parameter value is added to or subtracted from the handover parameter cell individual offset (CIO) to obtain a new CIO, which must meet protocol-defined constraints. The updated CIO is delivered to UEs so that handovers from an eNodeB to a micro base station can be triggered more easily or handovers from a micro base station to an eNodeB can be triggered less easily. In this manner, the cell coverage of a micro base station is expanded. This parameter applies only to LTE FDD and LTE TDD.
NonContRaOptSwitch: Indicates the access (non-contention) function for UEs whose distance to the eNodeB is greater than the cell radius. If this option is selected, non-contention-based random access optimization is performed on the UEs whose distance to the eNodeB is greater than the cell radius. This ensures the access of such UEs. If this option is deselected, non-contention-based random access optimization is disabled. This option does not apply to cells established on the LBBPc. When the eMTC function takes effect, this option takes effect only on LTE UEs. This option applies only to LTE FDD and LTE TDD.
Can you please share for Pico cell?
Pico also one of Micro sites
So you can add that parameter into HEDEX (in Huawei case) and you can read all details.
With parameters struture
You can fine tune dlrsboost parameter to increase/decrease site coverage footprint.
this parameter is not available in Baicells eNodeb
if you can try to increase the carrier frequency (e.g. from low band to highband). Also you can increase the bandwidth of the channel,(e.g., from 2MHz to 15MHz/20MHz or even higher)
Oh okay!!
If Nokia, the parameter is dlrsboost
.
Yes correct.
Negative value means decrease footprint.
Positive means increase.
For many serving cell, increasing dlrsboost
is not recommended.
