Hello experts,
I’m a newbie in 4G optimization. Currently i’m working on the main cause of Erab drop.My company deployed a number of moran stations from vendor huawei and some cells had a high e-rab drop rate index. What can I do to check the reason, and improve this index? what are the main kpi’s and counters to check for that with vendor Huawei?

Yoy may start doing a top 10 cells with the counter you are using in the kpi for a week and then drill down in the erab failure types. Analyze day by day also in case there’s one cell with a temporary anomaly.

  1. check the culprit’s cells in term of drops, not drop rate.
  2. check sub reason for drops.
  3. either issue is momentary or persistent.
