4x4 MIMO Performance: Unexpected 3CC Reduction - Phone Capability or Band Combination?

We tested 4x4 MIMO (4x20W) vs. 2x20W and observed worse results with reduced 3CC usage.

What could be the reason? Could it be related to phone capability?

Our setup includes L800, L1800, and L2600 with 2x2 MIMO.

Could the phone be aggregating only 2CC instead of 3CC?

The UE is a Samsung S23 – does 4x4 MIMO only work with specific band combinations for Carrier Aggregation (CA)?

If I’m not mistaken, then there are known frequent problems with Samsung S-, A-series, and not only with CC…
Have you conducted tests with other devices (not Samsung)?
