Anyone trialed the switch “MME_ABN_REL_SAME_TMSI_CHECK_SW” in Huawei LTE Network?
As per description, “If this option is selected, the base station checks accesses of other calls with the same TMSI in MME-triggered abnormal release scenarios. In MME-triggered abnormal release scenarios, if the base station determines that the abnormal release is caused by the access of another call with the same TMSI, the base station does not count this service drop.”
Is it really effective and how eNB knows about TMSI as MME doesn’t share TMSI with eNB?
