Candidate SCell List (sCellToBeSetupList) is sent from CU to DU via F1 messaging for CA. Therefore, candidateSCellList is created in CU. However, some information about the bands is available in DU. (For example, contiguous non-contiguous calculation or slot configurations).
Should Candidate SCell List be created according to UE’s capability? Should UE’s Capability be checked in CU or DU?
If it is to be checked in CU, should CU also have information to be able to perform contiguous/non-contiguous check?
