Criteria for choosing SSB OFDMA symbol configurations in 5G (3-6 GHz, SCS = 30 kHz)

For SCS = 30 kHz and a 5G band between 3 GHz and 6 GHz, what are the criteria for choosing between the two SSB OFDMA symbol configurations?

To avoid interference in SSB. PSS/SSS and PBCH in LTE are located at the centre of the carrier. In NR, SSB can be placed away from the centre where SCS is 30 kHz in adjacency scenarios of LTE and NR in mid band.

Thanks! For the 3 to 6 GHz range with SCS = 30 kHz, how do we choose between the configurations {4,8,16,20}+28n or {2,8}+14n?
