Did 3GPP define 512 QAM DL in LTE in any of the releases?

I think they did 1024 QAM.

I guess 1024 added for MW…

1024 QAM introduced in REl 15, but I do not remember definition for 512QAM.

Found this document of Qualcomm, they do not mention 512QAM at all.

QAM is always the square of a 2^n. So creating 512 QAM has not much sense.
