Ericsson RNC - payload and sctp addresses (iub)

Can 3G payload go on the same IP-addresses as SCTP between nodeB and RNC?
We have an Ericsson RNC3820, and we see UDP packets on one of the IP-addresses defined as SCTP.

How can you print which IP address is used for payload vs sctp?

Hi, @Bartonsen, there are two ip addresses per HostEt in IUB interface for RBS signalling, user data and synchronization. The one reservedBy IpAccessSctp is for signalling (NBAP) and (Iā€™m not sure) for user dara. The second is for synchronization.

Hi @Bartonsen . Yes UP and CP traffic may use the same RNC IP-addresses. You may check current configuration with sti amos-command.
