Dears,
I’m very glad to make part of this forum.
At the moment I have a doubt: during a VoLTE call using a Samsung and a Nokia 5.4, in Samsung’s screen we can see that EVS is being used.
But in Nokia 5.4 we don’t have this information. Is there any software for mobile that can show the codec information supported during a VoLTE call?
We tried here to root the mobile, but it is almost impossible.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Hi Bruno,
If you’re able to get a capture on the S-CSCF you should be able to see the codec selection from the SIP INVITE and the 200 OK response, in the SDP body.
On Samsung devices you can capture this traffic, I don’t know of a way to do it on Nokia devices, other than potentially through QXDM?
Thanks a lot for the reply.
I think that’s a good solution, but what we are trying to get is a way to check it on mobile’s screen.
QXDM also should help, but I got an information that we cannot get the messages unless the mobile have the engineering software.
So, we are trying to install a software like Network Signal Guru, but need to root the mobile. But there is no bootloader available yet for it.
