Fujitsu has introduced a new vRAN solution, leveraging the power of NVIDIA’s GPU technology. This innovative solution, which includes a new vDU and vCU, is set to revolutionize the mobile network landscape and transformation.
This solution, developed as part of NTT DoCoMo’s “5G Open RAN Ecosystem”, utilizes the capabilities of NVIDIA’s A100X GPU processing engine for Enhanced physical layer processing at the base station.
It can parallel processing of vRAN and edge applications ( ex: UPF) on GPU hardware resources.
This unique all-in-one configuration allows each function to be built on the same server, providing an innovative solution for more efficient and integrated network solutions.
