How does UE know where to transmit ACK/NACK?

Hello Experts.

How does UE know where to transmit ACK/NACK?

I know there is k1 offset in DCI.

But say we have DDDSU structure how does UE know that the 3 DL transmissions will be multiplexed on U?

Will the k1 offset change for each DL transmission?

Yes:

  • For First D = k1 value = 3 (if we have configured U in the S slot) / 4

  • For Second D = k1 value = 2 (if we have configured U in the S slot) / 3

  • For third D = k1 value = 2

This K1 value UE can find from DCI.
