Hi All.
For 20 MHz BW of NR n78, I am getting MCS 22 with 51 PRB.
How much throughput will get in this case?
Try here:
Select all parameters and you will get an accurate throughput.
For 20 MHz bandwidth of NR n78, there are a total of 106 resource blocks available. However, you mentioned that 51 PRBs are allocated, which means that 51 out of the 106 PRBs are being used. Calculate the total number of RBs (51) and multiply it by the maximum data rate per RB
The maximum number of PRBs is 51, No of MIMO layers (v) =2, MCS Index =27 (256QAM Table), Code rate = 0.925
Assume, no. of PDSCH symbols scheduled within the slot =13, Number of symbols occupied by DMRS/PRB = 12 (with PDSCH & DMRS multiplexing),
Overhead configured by higher layer =12.
The number of PDSCH REs per PRB = 1213 – 12 – 12 = 132.
Total number of PDSCH REs allocated to the UE= 51 PRBs132 = 6732 REs
So, Number of information bits (Ninfo) = 673280.925*2 = 99633 bits.
Since If Ninfo > 3824 bits,
Here n= Floor (log2 (99633 – 24)) – 5 = 11
So, N’info = max (3840, 211 *round ((99633 – 24)/ 211) = max (3840, 98304) = 98304, which is > 8424 bits.
C = Ceiling ((98304+24)/8424) = 12
Hence, TBS = 812 Ceiling((98304+24)/(812)) – 24 = 98376 bits ( per slot, slot duration is 0.5 ms as SCS is 30 KHz) //
In 1 Radio frame (10 ms), we have 12 DL slots, 4 Special Slots with configuration 6+4+4 and 4 UL slots.
The maximum DL throughput =(12* D + 6/14D)/10 ms * 1000 = (1298376 + 6/1498376)/101000 = 122 Mbps//
