Hello Experts.
SCS is a trade off between symbol duration and CP overhead.
Means we can use small CP while SCS is lower and if SCS is large symbol duration is shorter and to handle ISI large CP will required.
My question is how Normal CP is supported in 240 kHz SCS and not extended CP?
To include extended CP or not was only application based.
3GPP didn’t found many applications of extended CP in LTE, therefore they limited extended CP only to one of the SCS.

It’s about NR.
And my question is in 240 kHz how ISI is avoided with normal CP?
240 kHz is meant for FR2.
Cells in FR2 are supposed to be very small cells.
You don’t need larger CP for small cells.

Then why not large CP in case of 15 kHz?
Why in only 60 kHz large CP is supported?
Lower the SCS, higer the symbol duration, higher the CP length.
Cyclic prefix is large in 15 kHz.
With normal CP itself.

How about 120 kHz SCS?
is it also FR2 and will be used in small cells?
Yes, it is used in FR2 only.
