Can u please help me in the same topics
Idle Cable Connection:
Pros:
Simplicity: This method is relatively straightforward and easy to implement.
Cost-Effective: It may require fewer additional components compared to other methods.
Cons:
Limited Scalability: Might not be as scalable as other methods, especially when considering future upgrades or expansions.
Maintenance: The physical cabling setup might require more maintenance over time.
Through TX Aggregation Point (TCU Level):
Pros:
Flexibility: Allows for more flexibility in configuring and managing the aggregation.
Scalability: Can be more scalable in the long run, accommodating future network growth.
Cons:
Complexity: Setting up and managing aggregation at the TCU level can be more complex.
Cost: This method might incur higher costs due to additional hardware and setup requirements.
When deciding between these two options, consider factors such as the current network requirements, future scalability needs, budget constraints, and the level of expertise available for implementation and maintenance. Each option has its own set of advantages and challenges, so the choice should be based on what aligns best with your specific network objectives and constraints.
I am still strugling with this subject.
Can’t understand why a 4G band is not achieving secondary CA when the others band of same operator are in another BaseBand, in same site, and the IDL cable is not working properly.
EthernetPort=IDL shows ENABLED but its parameter ifHCOutUcastPkts always shows cero
Since the idle cable connection is not functioning properly, this could potentially be the reason why secondary CA is not being achieved for the specific 4G band.
Verify the physical connections, ensure there are no faults in the cables, connectors, or any other related hardware components.
The parameter ifHcOutuCast
showing zero might indicate that the port is not transmitting data as expected. This could be a crucial factor affecting the secondary CA setup.
Check the port configuration and settings to ensure that it is correctly configured for data transmission.
Confirm that the band assignment and configuration on the baseband unit for the 4G band in question are correctly set up for secondary CA.
Ensure that the baseband unit handling the specific 4G band has the necessary resources and configurations for CA with the other bands.
