Researchers develop nanometer-scale adaptive transistor
Engineers at the University of Vienna, Austria, created an adaptive transistor, which can be dynamically controlled, at runtime, to perform different logical tasks.
This fundamentally changes chip design possibilities and opens up completely new opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence, neural networks, and even multibit logic, which works with more values than just 0 and 1, bringing electronics closer to quantum computing.
