Is 5G UE able to send MSG1 from outside of planned cell ranges?
If yes, will BTS receive MSG 2 successfully?
Yes.
eNB may try to send Msg2. Don’t think there is close loop access control at that point
My opinion is that UE can send rach outside the planned cell range.
But eNodeB will not receive it because it will be outside of listening window of eNodeB.
That’s is what i am thinking actually.
Why BTS should send MSG2 in this case for that UE if BTS cannot listen MSG3?
In msg2 is timing advance information.
What value should be there for such a UE?
Impossible to send it.
