Thanks.

This is also that is presented on CACOMBOS, not much CA in uplink is allowed and not interband just intraband.

Yes, just intra band and even continuous.

Inter band UL CA also there.

Max BW class seen as C i.e. 2 CC CA in Uplink.

CLASS C would actually mean intraband!

Class C indicates 2 CC here.

So in Uplink CA combo like CA_40A_3A not possible?

Class C means intra band contiguous component carriers.

Thanks!

Please confirm inter band UL CA possible or not.

It is given in specification.

I think it’s allowed but based on band combo.

3A + 40A UL CA is not supported as per specs.

40a-3a possible only in DL, in uplink we have 40C (20+20) and 5a-3a (10+10) in our network.

Thanks, so inter band UL CA there.

Of course it is there

But you asked specific band combination, that is not supporting UL CA.

Here’s a nice article to understand UL and DL CA capabilities from UE capability message:

At the bottom of page is explained well UL CA.

And let me attach a UE capability from S20 ultra 5G so you can play around:

I guess UL CA is still not supported between TDD and FDD
