I have developed a method for identifying clear frequencies without overlapping, using Python code integrated within QGIS.
This method involves:
- Entering the ICM BAND data for all cells in the network.
- Designing a tool that finds clear frequencies within a 3000-meter radius, avoiding overlap with neighboring cells.
- Automatically identifying the BSIC that does not overlap with adjacent cells.
- The selected frequencies are based on a principle of choosing channels with no noise, by scanning the entire geographic area to detect interference-free options.
This tool greatly simplifies frequency planning and ensures better spectrum efficiency for cellular networks. Happy to connect and discuss with anyone interested in RF planning or GIS-based telecom tools!
