In 5G, one Slot (variable slot duration - full slot or minislot) always contains 14 symbols, but in 4G one slot (0.5 ms) always contains 7 symbols…

Correct.
But minislot can contain any number of symbols.
Oh, yes. Minislot 2, 4 or 7 symbols!
Minislot shouldn’t have been in the question…my bad. 
Slot length = 1/2 power (numerology).
So for 15 kHz still slot length 1 ms having 14 symbols.
True…but we need to have the consideration of mini slot

In 4G everything is fixed
Slot = 7 symbols, slot = 0.5 ms and TTI = 2 slots = 1ms ( except the case of TTI bundling of 4 TTIs)
In 5G the only fixed value among these is slot = 14 symbols
Slot duration could be 1ms, 0.5ms, 0.25ms, 0.125 ms for SCS 15 , 30 ,60 , 120 kHz respectively.
TTI is either 1 slot (14 symbols) or mini slot ( 2, 4 or 7 symbols) or multiple slots (slot aggregation)
