Anyone working on FWA networks?
I want to understand if they spend efforts to find optimized location of the gNodeB AAU antenna.
Since all users are static, gNodeB antenna location is crucial to get as many users paired for MU-MIMO as possible.
Please perform Link Budget analysis.
This is also depends on Band, CPE type, Type of Service and Radio Unit.
No such optimized locations.
Guideline is to install the device within 500 m from the site, RSRP> -100 dBm and preferably site is on Fiber.
No use of IAB feature without Fiber?
I think even FWA antenna of each FWA user can be moved slightly, up and down, left and right, back and forward, maybe rank 4 pops-up.
Currently IAB is not available here.
We have ~12% of devices with RI =4, remaining RI =1, 2 or 3.
