For Prach extraction in Massive MIMO should the oRu extract per uplink antenna stream or per uplink layer. For example we may have 64 antenna streams that are converted to 8 layers. Extracting from 64 is obviously very demanding compared to 8 layers.
If extracted from the 64 antenna streams I guess we need to apply beam forming weights on prach preambles to convert them to 8 layers for oDu
Any thoughts please.
