What are the recommended values for the DL t-Reordering timer at the PDCP level and the t-Reassembly timer at the RLC DL level for VoNR bearers?
For VoNR bearers, the recommended values are:
- PDCP DL t-Reordering timer: ~200ms
- RLC DL t-Reassembly timer: ~35ms
Since the voice bearer is UM, I believe it might be better to set the t-Reassembly timer slightly higher, perhaps around 60ms.
As for the PDCP timer, could a 200ms setting potentially cause unnecessary delays for the TCP layer?
VoNR can be either AM or UM, unlike VoLTE, which can only be UM.
In my case, it is UM.
Samsung uses the values mentioned above, but you can try different values.
VoLTE can also be AM.
I’m not sure if any operator uses AM for VoLTE.
For QCI5.
