Ericsson Experts, is it possible to remotely restore a 3G DUW site from a backup?
If yes, could you provide guidance on how to accomplish it?
I’ve successfully performed remote restorations with baseband units but not with DUW.
Ericsson Experts, is it possible to remotely restore a 3G DUW site from a backup?
If yes, could you provide guidance on how to accomplish it?
I’ve successfully performed remote restorations with baseband units but not with DUW.
Have you tried performing a kget?
No, what does it do?
Kget alone is not sufficient.
You need to obtain a full configuration version (CV), which spans multiple directories - check the old Alex libraries for reference.
Additionally, if the DUW doesn’t have software installed, you’ll need to install one or apply an upgrade package.
If the DUW is faulty, you must replace it with a new one, format it, and install an upgrade package along with a CV backup. This process typically needs to be done on-site or in a test bed before sending the unit to the site.
Additionally, the steps may vary depending on whether the faulty DUW is the primary or secondary unit.
If the DUW is not faulty .
Run cvls and set the DUW to a working cv.
