Reordering Signals in spatial diversity without Timestamps

Hello Experts.

In Spatial Diversity, when signals travel through different paths with respective delay times, how does the receiver correctly reorder these signals, considering they don’t contain sequence timestamps?

Once the two paths are uncorrelated and a phase reference is provided (via a Pilot Channel or Reference Signal), the receiver detects the differing delays (phases) of each path and coherently demodulates them.

This principle applies regardless of whether the diversity is achieved through space or polarization.
