Hello, I have a question. In normal, max retx works on AM, but I met RLC MAX retx failure while RLC UM works. Do you know why?

This is not expected…it could be a bug in UE software code or the max_retx error you were seeing was was due to another AM bearer configured.

I understand, thank you for answer. Actually There isn’t AM bearer configured that I know.
RLC AM has retransmission buffer, so it can do retransmission if NACK.
But RLC UM not has retransmission buffer, so if NACK it can not do retransmission because old data is not kept.
