This article show some of the most common MML commands that is used for Troubleshooting (every day use) with screenshots.
RST ALDPWRSW
Use this command to turn on the antenna line device (ALD) power switch that has been powered off automatically due to an exception. This command is used to terminate the self-protection state of the ALD.
This command can be executed successfully only when the specified RRU or RFU works properly.
DSP BRDTEMP
Use this command to query the temperature of a board. The temperature of the board includes the board temperature and power amplifier temperature.
-
This command can be executed only when the specified board works properly.
-
The temperature of a board in the BBU and MRXU refers to the board temperature. The temperature of other RF module includes the board temperature and power amplifier temperature.
-
A WBBP without tempratern sensor couldn’t support querying temperature.
SCN ALD
Use this command to scan the ALDs connected to the RRU or RFU. This command can also be used to check the serial number of the device. The scanning result contains the information about all ALDs that are physically connected to the BS, regardless of whether the ALDs are configured.
-
Before the scanning, the power switch of the control port must be set to ON for the ALD connected to the control port.
-
If an SASU is cascaded with a TMA, the TMA can be detected through scanning only when the SASU runs properly and the DC power supply switch for the antenna port is turned on.
DSP TXBRANCH
Use this command to query the dynamic attributes of the TX channel of the RRU.
The maximum TX power of some RRUs cannot be queried by running this command. If the query result shows that the maximum TX power is an invalid value, you can run the DSP RRU command to query the maximum TX power.
LST RETPORT
Use this command to list the configuration of a Remote Electrical Tilt Unit (RET) port.
LST VLANMAP
Use this command to list the parameters of the next hop VLAN mapping relationship.
DSP DEVIP
Use this command to query the device IP addresses that take effect.
The execution result shows all IP addresses (including user-configured and negotiated IP addresses) that are set on PPP ports, MLPPP ports, Ethernet ports, Ethernet trunk ports, and loopback interfaces.
RST BRD
Use this command to reset a specified board, except passive boards such as the UPEU and USCU.
The reset of a board causes interruption of services carried by the board.
LST RRU
Use this command to query the configuration of the RRU or RFU MO.
DSP IPRT
Use this command to query the information about all reachable IP routes.
MOD RETPORT
Use this command to modify the configuration of a Remote Electrical Tilt Unit (RET) port.
-
This command can be executed only when the RRU corresponding to the port runs normally.
-
The power switches of both the antenna port and RET port of the RRU cannot be set to ON at the same time. If both power switches are set to ON, the system returns a message indicating that the execution of this command fails.
