RSRP variation between CA user and Non CA users

Hi Experts,

In LTE we are getting RSRP variation between CA user and Non CA users.

Wich is about 10 dB.

Any suggestions to solve?

Yes, exactly.

CA algorithm has in built mechanism to assume lower RSRP for CA users.

Think its adjustable parameter but yes network assumes CA users with lower RSRP.

If I remember it right, because CA user’s radio is more intensely using 2 carriers, it reduces spatial diversity gain at UE device.

10 dB is big difference btw. remember every 3 dB difference is half power.
