Hello Expert.

We are experiencing a significant increase in VoLTE SRVCC preparation failure alongside rising traffic.

We need to investigate whether the issue lies within the RAN side or if it’s related to the core network

Vendor is Huawei.

Please do the following and share:

  1. Check if there is any new site nearby?
  2. Check its configuration in configuration file, end to end
  3. Check its neighboring information, priorities and external definitions
  4. Check the mandatory switches at UMTS end.

I believe the issue will be with your definition data for UMTS neighboring, there are 3 to 4 tabs in radio planning export which must be configured properly

Evaluate it.

Preparation phase issue most probably linked with definitions.

But it is appearing in many sites…

Is there any clustered area?

Regional level.

First check on the top worst cell which I shared, lets see.

But why it was not before and due to increased in traffic it appears.

If it’s configuration issue then there must be some failure before as well.
