Slow Command Execution in Moshell

Hello everyone,

I’m facing an issue while connected to a 4G Ericsson site using Moshell. When I try to run the baseline, the commands execute very slowly.

Does anyone know the possible reason for this?

Are you using the latest MOShell?

Could be ENM space issue.

how about the OAM connection?
is it slow too?

i had this issue, on the site with limited satellite backhaul.
very slow OAM connection. “lt all” alone will take so much time to complete.

Hi @WhatsAppUser1 !
If you have 2 or more ENMs, then you can to compare the speed of the answers from eNb. For example, eNb is connected to the ENM1 and there is issue with ‘lt all’ etc., you may connect to the ENM2, open the AMOS window, try to connect to the eNb with using IP of eNb.

I use this trick almost everyday :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi,

ENM is a great tool no question of that and things it does, I have never seen any other single tool does.Backups,PM data,FM data, logs,Configuration Management,Bulk upload ,LCM you name it ENM does all of that. But sad story is unfortunately it is extremly resource intensive. In one of the deployments which I have worked in the past each application on ENM was deployed in a Single VM so that deployment had around 25 VMs dedicated to ENM only.Because of that they Could not deploy DR or redundent site for Production ENM also.I dont know it is a development issue or the deployment issue but at the moment it is what it is.And Unfortunately because of the heavy resource consumption that operator had to dismantle ENM and distribute the services to Splunk and some other storage solution which are more resource efficient which in turn reflecting on the opex.

Thank you
