Could you please help clarify the thresholds that govern the activation of different 4G MIMO modes in Huawei equipment, such as Closed Loop and Diversity modes?
In Ericsson, for example, we have a parameter like:
CQI threshold for fallback to Closed Loop MIMO 1CW Mode – Range: 0 to 16 (step 0.1), with a typical value of 11.
What are the equivalent parameters or thresholds in Huawei systems?
What is the exact parameter name and MO in Ericsson for the CQI Threshold for Fallback to Closed Loop MIMO 1 CW Mode?
Isn’t it TransmissionMode (TM3, TM4, etc.)?
TransmissionMode is not a threshold.
The discussion here is about a CQI threshold in Ericsson RAN, which is what I am interested in.
Theoretically, many concepts exist in books and 3GPP standards, but vendors do not always provide all these features as configurable parameters. When comparing Huawei to Ericsson, Ericsson does not offer such controlling parameters.
