Troubleshooting Ericsson Radio 8863 8T8R B40

Hello Everyone,

We have recently added the Ericsson Radio 8863 to our network for B40. However, we are experiencing a Calibration Alarm on one of the 8 configured ports, which is preventing the cell from coming up. If anyone has any troubleshooting ideas for this issue, it would be very helpful. We have already tried changing the antenna and the radio unit, but this has not resolved the problem.

Configuration:
• Ericsson BBU 6648 21Q4
• RRUS 8863 B40
• Huawei Antenna 16x Hybrid or Antenna x-pol

Calibration Alarm

We have faced similar issue in past, it was due to combiner mismatch that was used for L23 TDD. Please check if you are using correct combiner for L23 TDD. Our Issue was we were using L26TDD combiner, instead of L23 TDD.
