Hi All.
Nice article with a unsuccessful deployments in IoT – a furore about failure c/o NB-IoT, Sigfox, Helium (LoRaWAN).
Some highlights worth reflecting:
- Cellular IoT has vast potential, but needs different approach
- Sigfox $350M & 10 year deployment produced < 20 mil devices
- Helium $1B public funded network still has no use after 3 years

IOT and LORA are widely used in European countries, with millions of subscribers and lots of domains/use cases, even LTE-M as well is being used.
