Hi Experts,
What can be the reason for high UL and DL BLER except RF?
CQI is good on the cell but due to high bler (40%) DL MCS is very low.

Ul interference.
High overlapping can not give good CQI.

High overlapping.
In UL high noise.
So more or less high overlapping.
Other can be ducting but not always.
Check parameter ultargetbler and dltargetbler.
Ducting then God gift can be there.

I faced one case of high bler on 4x4 mimo cells due to Wrong connection between RRU and antenna.
Correlated with almost zero RANK3,4

Any solution on high UL BLER interference?

Vendor Ericsson.

We have IRC interference rejection cancellation switch in Huawei, hopefully Ericsson also have some switch similar to it.

For uplink u can try:

  • UL comp
  • UL link adaptation techniques like fast uplink adaptation
  • IRC

Except RF this must be Hardware issue , jumper swap and faulty port.
