What could be the reason for not transmitting msg1 by UE for making RRC connection?
Here in log it get aborted without any attempt.

Before the RACH, there are 3 steps:
- Frequency search - check the UE support that band and freq
- Cell search: check PCI conflict
- Cell selection (check the qrxlev min and check the UE correctly read the sib1 and therefore sib2 for grants).
All these points i have checked, no issue in that.
Is this the first RACH attempt?
No, even UE didn’t try to do first attempt.
We can see in log, Attempts = 0.
On the same cell few seconds back UE had made RRC and RACH attempted and result was successful.
Later after RRC Release due to inactivity it got stuck here before RACH.
PCI was same.
Same UE or different UE?
Same UE.
From the log, it seems like UE attempted PRACH.
At gNB it might have not received.
What is preamble received target power and RSRP.
+1, I was about the ask same.
No, UE had not attempted msg1 i varified it from lower layer log… and also you can see attempt is zero.
Preamble Received target power is -116
With same configuration it had made RRC successfully in same cell.
You can increase the no. ff RACH attempts and check once more.
This is commercial UE.
This is controlled from gNB side.
Ultimately UE will have attempts for further RACH attempt, right?
Which specific IE / Parameter you are saying which need to shared in RRC?
Preamble trans max.
It is already set to 10.
If I understand correctly, same UE sometimes do send MS1 and sometimes not on the same cell, right?
Yes, correct.
Is power increasing at every RACH transmission?
Step size will come in picture once UE will start sending preamble (msg1).
