Does anyone know what “Double Attach” means?
Apparently it’s when MME receives a new attach request from same UE whilst it has existing attached details of same UE.
This is rare scenario and MME should flush/discard old attach session and continue with new.
VoLTE / RAN attach?
Not really.
Example: I read that it happens when UE battery is removed suddenly and put back.
Device turns on and does another attach.
Network in that time hasn’t yet discarded UE.
