What is the typical percentage of UL CA (2CC) in a 4G Network?
I will be interested to have similar values from Ericsson, Nokia and Huawei Networks.
Samsung - less than 0.5%.
It’s more about UE support than network itself.
Of course UE Capability is the key.
Just wanted to correlate if we have 2CC and 3CC Usage in DL what should be the expectation in UL.
Beacuse of UL power limitation, very few UE support it.
Sony UE supports UL CA.
Other than enough power, the buffer content is also important.
If the Buffer content is left after scheduling on the PCell, it will be scheduled on the SCell.
In the case of UL this is also very less if we look at the general usage patterns.
You can check in band combo for UL, if class C is there, which indicates support of UL 2 CC, which now coming in new chipset but for limited bands.
