Why is the DMRS present in 2 or 3rd symbol when using Mapping Type A (5G) and not on first symbol?
Because first/second symbol is reserved for PDCCH.
It cannot be used for PDSCH/RS.
It is not the 2nd or 3rd, the PDSCH DMRS occupies 3rd (pos 2) or 4th (pos 3) symbol of the DL slot. The 1st two symbols we can use for PDCCH.
